Seongjae Lee, to his father-in-law, "If you don't give me a bankbook, I'll leave the house."
‘Red Balloon’ Lee Seong-jae’s well-reasoned rebellion has begun.

In the 6th episode of 'Red Balloon', which aired on January 1, Lee Seong-jae (played by Ji Nam-cheol) was shown presenting demands to his father-in-law, Yoon Ju-sang (played by a junk dealer).

In the previous broadcast, Lee Seong-jae, who had been drunk and vented all the sadness and resentment he had accumulated, stood again in front of his father-in-law with a gaunt face.

Lee Seong-jae said, “Please respect me,” and requested not only respect as the president and head of the household, but also a bank account containing all of his wages.

And “If you don’t give me my bankbook, I will leave the house.” “I will also quit the company,” he said, making a bombshell announcement.

Lee Seong-jae, who had only been paying attention to his father-in-law, began to confidently demand his rights.

Lee Seong-jae, who started working under his father-in-law for decades, not only did not receive a single penny of salary, but also lived with being scolded and criticized every day by his wife's family.

The sight of Lee Seong-jae continuing to speak firmly with tears in his eyes was enough to add to the feeling of pity.

Meanwhile, Lee Seong-jae, who had been enduring the sorrow that had been building up for a long time, alone, was depicted experiencing an emotional inflection point due to Jeong Yu-min (played by Jo Eun-san).

Lee Seong-jae, who was not recognized even by his family, was feeling comforted and grateful by Jung Yu-min, who took care of him every day.

At Jeong Yu-min's invitation, the two spent time together enjoying indoor camping, and Lee Seong-jae shared his inner story in a comfortable atmosphere.

Next, Jung Yoo-min actively expressed his feelings toward Lee Seong-jae, and Lee Seong-jae portrayed momentary trembling emotions and tension with subtle facial expressions, revealing an undeniable attraction, raising expectations for the unfolding development.

With his seasoned acting skills, Lee Seong-jae drew attention in detail, from the cowering appearance of the head of the family to the explosion, as well as completely immersing himself in the role of a character who experiences different emotions than before. It is said that Lee Seong-jae's passionate performance draws viewers' immersion and completes Moon Young-nam's family drama more solidly.
