Bae Doo-na's 'Next Sohee' is Korea's first Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week closing film.

The movie 'Next Sohee' (directed by Jeong Ju-ri) has confirmed its release in February.

According to distributor Twin Plus Partners on the 2nd, 'Daum Sohee', the first Korean film to be selected as the closing film of the 75th Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week, has confirmed its release in February. Along with this, the main poster was released.

'Next Sohee' is an intense story about an incident that Sohee (played by Si-eun Kim), a confident 18-year-old high school student, experiences while going on field training, and Eugene (played by Doo-na Bae), a detective who investigates it, encounters it in the same space but at a different time.

The main poster that was released first catches attention by showing Bae Doo-na, who plays detective Eugene, as if she is looking for someone. Her shining eyes, seen through her tired appearance as if she is concentrating on the case, raise curiosity about the events and stories that Eugene will face in the movie.

It makes one wonder what kind of story there is for Sohee, whose sad expression appears to be looking at Eugene while being slightly out of focus. It stimulates curiosity about new actor Kim Si-eun, who has drawn rave reviews from overseas critics and media.
