In episode 3 of KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Matchmakers', which aired on the 6th, Shim Jeong-woo (played by Ro-woon) and Jeong Soon-deok (played by Jo Yi-hyun) appeared to work together to carry out the king's command, that is, the wedding.
On this day, Shim Jeong-woo visited Jeong Sun-deok to solve the issue of the maid and the miner that the king (played by Jo Han-cheol) had asked him to resolve. Previously, Sim Jeong-woo visited Dr. Maeng's house to marry his daughters, but failed. The first daughter, Maeng Ha-na (played by Jeong Shin-hye), emphasized that she had a special reason for not getting married. Accordingly, Sim Jeong-woo decided to visit Jeong Sun-deok, who was considered the best matchmaker in Joseon, and make the matchmaking happen.
Shim Jeong-woo, who was struggling to make the matchmaking happen, tripped and soon took out his anger on Jeong Soon-deok. Jeong Sun-deok, who was watching this, sarcastically said, “You seem like a very angry man who gets angry for no reason.” In fact, Jeong Soon-deok did not know that Sim Jeong-woo was Cheongsang's sire, the main character of the angry man, and Sim Jeong-woo held back his anger. However, Sim Jeong-woo was shown to be attracted to Jeong Soon-deok, who cared for him when he injured his leg.
Soon-deok Jeong headed to Dr. Maeng's house again with Sim Jeong-woo to accomplish the mission of marrying Dr. Maeng's daughters, which Sim Jeong-woo had requested. Sim Jeong-woo offered to accompany them as a condition of cooperation, and Jeong Soon-deok said that he would accept the matchmaking plan he designed without hesitation. Two people arrived at their destination. Jeong Sun-deok was worried and said, “It is possible to match three people within two months, but wouldn’t it be difficult to get married?”, but Shim Jeong-woo suggested a solution by loudly saying, “All three will get married on the same day.”
When Maeng Hana saw Sim Jeong-woo come back, she refused, again mentioning that she had no intention of getting married. Accordingly, Sim Jeong-woo requested to speak with Mrs. Cho (played by Choi Hee-jin). Mrs. Cho, the mother of three daughters, was blind, and upon hearing Shim Jeong-woo's words, she firmly stated that she had no intention of marrying him.

Jeong Soon-deok referred to himself as the god of matchmaking and excitedly said, “I can find the grooms that my daughters are destined for.” However, Mrs. Cho said, “If all my daughters get married, who will take care of me, who is blind?”, and Jeong Soon-deok said, “Why are you saying things that you don’t mean?”
Jeong Soon-deok, who mentioned the Mandarin Duck painting hanging in the house, changed Mrs. Cho's mind. Mrs. Cho was unable to say anything when Jeong Soon-deok asked, “Wasn’t it arranged for your first daughter’s wedding five years ago?” In response to Jeong Soon-deok's sincerity, saying, "Your daughters may end up marrying someone they don't like. I want to prevent that," Mrs. Cho entrusted her with matchmaking for her daughters.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Cho was arrested for refusing to marry the family of the Minister of Defense, and it was revealed that the reason was Sim Jeong-woo. Jeong Sun-deok said firmly, "I am completely disappointed. The contract between me and Nari has been completely broken. From now on, I will never allow Nari to carry out his orders."
