Moon Se-yoon Faces Crisis on 'Amazing Saturday' Amidst Roasting Fest

Moon Se-yoon finds himself in hot water on the latest episode of tvN's variety show 'Amazing Saturday.'

On the October 21st broadcast, comedians Lee Yong-jin, Shin Ki-ru, and Lee Jae-yul, known for their roasting prowess, made a guest appearance.

Lee Yong-jin, marking his 11th appearance on the show, expressed, "Until my 10th appearance, I had no particular goal, but appearing today with my fellow 'Roasting Fest' members feels special."

Lee Yong-jin revealed that despite multiple invitations, Moon Se-yoon, a 'Variety Show Award' winner, had been avoiding the 'Roasting Fest.' Moon Se-yoon explained, "I wanted to join, but my schedule didn't allow it," which was criticized as an insincere excuse, even leading senior host Shin Dong-yup to distance himself.

When Moon Se-yoon claimed, "Someone who can be roasted should attend, but I have nothing to be roasted for," Lee Jae-yul humorously retorted, "Moon Se-yoon can come out anytime," drawing laughter. Moon Se-yoon promised to make an appearance.

Lee Yong-jin also mentioned Kim Dong-hyun as someone who shouldn't be invited to the 'Roasting Fest,' saying, "He's my son's friend's dad. We meet more often as parents than on TV. It's already upsetting to see him in a wig today, and if the kids see their friend's dad being roasted, it might shatter their worldview."

Kim Dong-hyun, upon seeing Lee Yong-jin enter with a gong during the opening, expressed his sympathy, saying he felt "a pang of sadness," revealing the shared struggles of fatherhood.

During the 'Initial Quiz: Beverage Edition' game, Moon Se-yoon faced a crisis. He failed to amuse with his answer "Haetae Malang" for the initials 'ㅎㅌㅁㄹ,' nearly bringing him to tears and earning the critique, "Your comedic sense has softened. It's the curse of the award."

Amidst the ongoing comedic slump, Moon Se-yoon attempted to showcase his humor with a bold mindset of 'leaving the scene,' but his comedic ranking plummeted instead. With Lee Yong-jin, a Baeksang Arts Award winner, and Lee Jae-yul, a top-ranked comedian, still in the game, Moon Se-yoon declared, "Guys, I'll go first," and exited. Lee Jae-yul, who once considered him a 'role model,' expressed disappointment, saying, "I won't see you as a senior anymore, just as a piece of meat."
