Actor Jeong Seong-il showed his son's foolish side.
On the 20th, the magazine 'Dazed' released a pictorial cut and interview with actor Jeong Seong-il in its April issue.
This 12-page pictorial shows a very different side of him going back and forth between cold and hot in 'The Glory'. In an interview before Part 2 of ‘The Glory’ was released, Jeong Seong-il said, “The character Ha Do-young will let out everything she has held in so far. Through a series of processes, you may fall to the lowest point in your life. I wonder if the viewers will understand what choice Ha Do-young makes. “I can’t tell whether they will say that they really had to make that choice or whether they will understand and say that it is possible,” he said, expressing his expectations for the audience’s reaction.
Regarding the recent appearance on entertainment programs and receiving a lot of attention, Jeong Seong-il said, "I think it's because I was lucky that I got to this point. Of course, I continued to perform, and I always put in my own efforts, but I was lucky enough to have an opportunity that exceeded my ability and effort. In fact, many people are prepared through endless efforts, but getting the opportunity is like luck,” he said, expressing his gratitude.
He continued, “I’m really happy about everything these days, but the happiest thing is seeing my family happy. (Laughs) One day, my seven-year-old son came home from kindergarten and said that the teachers had asked for my autograph. He asked me what my autograph was. . “I was happy that I could do something for my young son who didn’t know what the cause of death was,” he said, showing his warm side.
Regarding his future actions, he said, “I am cautious now. I've received a lot of offers, but I'm taking some time to think about it. I know that this next step is very important for me and the people I work with. Even now, I’m always having meetings with people at the company. “It’s okay to go slowly, so let’s make choices that allow us to move forward even a little at every moment,” he said, expressing a cautious attitude.
