Singer and actor Jeong Jin-woon mentioned director Jang Hang-jun, with whom he worked in the movie 'Rebound'.

'Rebound' is a miraculous story of 8 days during the 2012 National High School Basketball Tournament, when a new coach and 6 players of the weakest basketball team that no one paid attention to ran tirelessly. It is based on the true story of Busan Jungang High School's success in the 2012 Korea Basketball Association Long National Middle and High School Basketball Tournament.
In the play, Jeong Jin-woon plays the role of Gyu-hyuk. Gyu-hyuk was a talented player, but due to an ankle injury, he quit basketball and played street basketball until he joined the Busan Jungang High School basketball team under Coach Kang (played by Ahn Jae-hong).
On this day, Jeong Jin-woon said, "It wasn't an audition. It started when I received the script from the company. Before I could say, 'I want to try it,' or 'I don't think so. ,' the company said, 'If it were you, you would do it, so you'll know that you do it.'
He said and proceeded. I received the scenario after that. “As expected, I laughed and had fun reading the ‘Rebound’ scenario,” he said.
He continued, "I said I would do my best if you asked me to. Should I say I was trying to lure Director Jang Hang-jun? I thought a lot about how to lure him in. I couldn't become a character in a few days, but I asked a lot of questions and told him everything I could prepare, starting with the items. “I wanted to make it as burdensome as possible so that they couldn't refuse. I tried to make them feel like, 'If I don't do this, something will happen.' “I prepared a lot of things,” he added.
Jeong Jin-woon said, "Director Jang Hang-jun actually felt burdened. He asked if he really had to ask questions like this. Including character analysis, hair style, how much tanning to do, what shoes to wear, etc., I “I wanted to do it so bad,” he said, laughing, adding, “My mindset after reading the scenario was really different from my mindset before reading it.”
In addition, Jeong Jin-woon said, "Director Jang Hang-jun's charisma is so great that I can't help but wonder how many people he has to deal with, and that I have never experienced him guiding me with just a few words. .I would say it's a feeling of being seen through.
