A still of Munetaka Aoki, who played the role of Ricky, the first global villain in the movie 'Crime City' series, has been released.
On the 18th, distributors Avio Entertainment and PlusM Entertainment released a still of Ricky, a global villain who appears for the first time in the third series of 'Crime City'. 'Crime City 3' is about monster detective Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok), who moves to the Seoul metropolitan investigation unit and meets Joo Seong-cheol (played by Lee Jun-hyuk), the mastermind behind a new drug crime case, and Ricky (played by Munetaka Aoki), another villain involved in the drug case. It depicts an exciting crime-fighting operation to catch people.
The movie 'Crime City 3' is attracting attention due to the appearance of the first 2 TOP villains in the series. Character stills of 3rd generation villain Joo Seong-cheol and villain Ricky, who will show off different charms, have been released. Ricky, who appears as the first global villain in the series' history, was played passionately by veteran Japanese actor Munetaka Aoki.
Ricky is a villain who came to Korea from Japan to distribute drugs, and is a vicious person who never misses a bait. Ricky's cruel and persistent nature can be clearly felt just from the released stills. Ma Dong-seok said of Ricky's character, "He is an eagle-like villain who flies at lightning speed and snatches up prey." In addition, expectations are raised by predicting that he will show flashy long sword action as a villain from Japan.
Munetaka Aoki gave an impressive performance as Sagara Sanosuke in the ‘Rurouni Kenshin’ movie series. It is said that after being cast for 'Crime City 3', he was so passionate about the work that he personally recruited a martial arts team from Japan and conducted personal practice.
Munetaka Aoki said, "I consider it an honor to participate in a work that was a huge hit in Korea. I was worried because it was my first time filming in Korea, but the director and staff welcomed me warmly."
‘Crime City 3’ will be released on the 31st.
