Director Park Hoon-jung's 'The Scion' production briefing session
Opening June 21st
Kim Seon-ho apologizes again ahead of his screen debut in 'The Scion'
Actor Kim Seon-ho apologized for the issue of his private life that arose in 2021.

On the morning of the 22nd, a press conference for the production of the movie 'The Scion' (director Park Hoon-jung) was held at Lotte Cinema in Konkuk University, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Director Park Hoon-jung and actors Kim Seon-ho, Kang Tae-joo, Kim Kang-woo, and Go Ara attended the production briefing.

It is Kim Seon-ho who stands in front of the public after the tvN drama 'Cha Cha Cha', which ended in October 2021. Kim Seon-ho was on the cutting board due to a private life issue with his ex-girlfriend at the time. It is the first full-fledged resumption of activities in about 20 months, except for the time on stage through the play 'Touching the Void' from July to September of last year.

On this day, Kim Seon-ho first apologized for the privacy issue related to himself, saying, "I am sorry for causing concern with my personal matter." He added, "Thank you for coming so many people. We will greet you again through interviews in the future."

Kim Seon-ho continued, "It's a place where the 'Scion', which was created after the hard work of director Park Hoon-jung, the staff, and many people, is shown for the first time."

'The Scion' is about an unknown scion (Kim Seon-ho) in front of Marco (Kang Tae-joo), a boxer who wanders around illegal stadiums in the Philippines, as well as forces with different goals, Han Yi-sa (Kim Kang-woo), Yun-ju (Go Ara), etc. appears and captures the unfolding chase. The Scion, played by Kim Seon-ho, is a person who makes Marco's struggle to earn money a mess.

Kim Seon-ho plays a completely different character from his previous work in his screen debut, 'The Scion'. Hong Doo-shik in 'Seaside Village Cha Cha-cha' was a pleasant and warm-hearted person who was involved in the big and small things in the neighborhood, while the Scion in 'The Scion' was a mysterious man wrapped in a veil. The 'Scion' side raised curiosity about the character of the scion by replacing it with a short explanation of "a mysterious person".

Opening June 21st.
