<Labang> Unboxing Park Seong-woong Q&A
Q. How did you feel when you first encountered the <Labang> scenario?
A. In the beginning, it was like 'um...', in the middle it was 'huh?', in the second half it was 'oh!' It felt like this, but the more I read the scenario, the more interesting and unique it became. I thought it would be a good opportunity to work with the director through <Labang>.
Q. What kind of person is the 'Gentleman' played by Park Sung-woong?
A. You can superficially introduce yourself as an artist collector doing illegal live broadcasting, but you can understand why the person broadcasts live when you watch the movie, and there is a story behind 'Gentleman'.
Q. Have you ever had a live broadcast like the role of 'Gentleman' in the play?
A. I have never had a live broadcast experience, and I learned through this movie. It was unfamiliar because I had never seen it separately, but I learned how to broadcast live while filming, such as how to comment and what kind of showmanship was needed. So I think I was able to shoot without much fear.
Q. How was filming in a confined space different from previous films?
A. It felt like a one-man show, such as speaking and reacting alone in a designated and limited space. It was unfamiliar, but I quickly got used to it while filming, and it was a different experience as an actor.
Q. Park Seong-woong’s points to watch
A. In the beginning, you can focus on the character of Dong-ju, but as the play progresses, you will be able to empathize with 'Gentleman' naturally as to why 'Gentleman' is doing this and why he had no choice but to do it this way. I hope this will serve as an opportunity for the audience to think about the message that 'Gentleman' wants to convey.
Meanwhile, Park Seong-woong, who captivated global viewers with the character of 'the greatest villain' in the recently released Netflix series 'Hounds', is looking forward to seeing what kind of acting he will show in the movie 'Labang'. there is.
