YouTube Show 'Jjanhyung' Faces Backlash Over Harassment Allegations Involving TXT Members

The YouTube variety show 'Jjanhyung,' hosted by Shin Dong-yup, is embroiled in controversy over allegations of guest harassment.

Recently, the production team of 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup' released a teaser video on their official channel featuring Soobin and Beomgyu from the boy group Tomorrow X Together (TXT).

The teaser showed the MCs pressuring Soobin to measure his nipple length, to which Soobin expressed feeling "humiliated." Following the video's release, fans flooded the channel with complaints, prompting the production team to remove the video. No official statement has been made.

There are signs of a truck protest brewing. On April 28, fans stated, "The teaser for the variety show 'Jjanhyung,' which was part of the album promotion, contained inappropriate remarks and actions that are not suitable for content featuring idols." They added, "The TXT fandom, MOA, takes the inclusion of scenes akin to sexual harassment in the teaser very seriously. To demand respect and protection for the artists, we plan to stage a truck protest targeting Big Hit Music."

Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together continues their activities following the release of their 8th mini-album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thornbush' on April 13.
