QWER Band's Culinary Adventure: A Heartfelt Shabu-Shabu Feast After World Tour
In the web variety show 'Desperate Bite' (produced by Studio Suje), airing at 6:30 PM on the 30th, host Kim Ji-yu visits the final venue of QWER's first world tour. Having completed a successful tour across 17 cities worldwide, the members of QWER meet Kim Ji-yu and choose 'Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu' as the dish they most desperately want to eat.
At the concert venue, Kim Ji-yu interviews QWER's fans, known as 'Bawige', experiencing their immense popularity firsthand and vividly conveying the emotions of the world tour backstage. After the concert, QWER finally heads to enjoy their much-anticipated meal of 'Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu'. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the members immediately order five servings of spicy mushroom kalguksu and five plates of beef.
When asked about their world tour while waiting for the food, QWER shares, "We weren't sure if the world tour would go well, but we decided to promote QWER, and so many people came," expressing their heartfelt gratitude.
The members' real-life banter is also a highlight. When asked if they fight due to their different personalities, they admit, "During the world tour, we shared rooms in pairs, and our personalities are so different that we split into breakfast lovers and rest lovers," yet they reveal QWER's secret to resolving conflicts within a minute. When MC Kim Ji-yu asks, "Who's the strongest?" Magenta jokes, "Siyun is the strongest with words, and Chodan with fists," bringing laughter to the scene.
Chodan, who showed resilience despite a knee injury during the world tour, becomes emotional and tears up when hearing stories from fans who worried more about her than she did. Kim Ji-yu shares a fan's story, and Chodan expresses her heartfelt gratitude and affection for the fans, saying, "I'm always thankful and sorry."
In the signature segment 'Desperate Words' of 'Desperate Bite', QWER members share their wishes. Magenta hopes to remain as hardworking as ever, Siyun wants to become freer and show more of herself, Hina wishes to stay centered and not be swayed by others' evaluations, and Chodan emphasizes the importance of health and hopes they continue to support each other while taking care of themselves. As they celebrate their third anniversary, the members' mature reflections are set to resonate with fans.
QWER's appearance on 'Desperate Bite' will be available on the YouTube channel 'Studio Suje' at 6:30 PM.
