Actress Choi Jung-yoon recently opened up about her decision to remarry, revealing that it was her daughter's words that led her to take the plunge.

On the October 25th episode of MBN's 'Dongchimi', Choi Jung-yoon, who recently announced her remarriage, candidly shared her story.

During the broadcast, Choi captivated viewers by unveiling her previously unseen wedding photos.

Explaining why she decided to go public with her remarriage, Choi said, “My daughter wanted me to share it.” Initially, she had no plans for a wedding ceremony or photo shoot, but her 10-year-old daughter's insistence that “a couple must have a wedding or at least take photos” changed her mind.

Choi further revealed that her daughter was the pivotal reason for her remarriage. Although she initially thought marriage was unnecessary, her daughter expressed a desire for a family by saying, “I wish uncle could be our dad,” referring to a close family friend. This heartfelt comment brought Choi and her partner closer, eventually leading them to form a new family.

Choi shared that hearing her daughter call someone 'dad' moved her to tears, highlighting the emotional depth of the moment.

On the show, Choi expressed her current happiness, stating, “Marriage is a good thing,” which drew admiration from the other guests.

Choi Jung-yoon is known for her role in the drama 'Cheongdam-dong Scandal', earning her the nickname 'Cheongdam-dong Daughter-in-law'. She married Yoon Tae-jun, the eldest son of the vice chairman of E-Land Group and former member of the group Eagle Five, in 2011 and had a daughter. However, the marriage ended after 10 years. Four years later, she surprised fans by announcing her remarriage to a non-celebrity five years her junior.
