Huh Kyung-hwan Faces Unexpected Humiliation in Hometown Tongyeong on 'Hangout with Yoo'

Comedian Huh Kyung-hwan experienced an unexpected 'humiliation' in his hometown of Tongyeong on the latest episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo'.

The episode, aired on the 25th, featured Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Joo Woo-jae, Huh Kyung-hwan, and Yang Sang-guk in the 'War of Money 3 in Tongyeong' segment.

During the show, Huh Kyung-hwan faced a surprising moment when locals showed more recognition to 'Prince of Gimhae' Yang Sang-guk, overshadowing Huh's presence. Even the 'Nation's MC' Yoo Jae-suk received more attention, adding humor to the situation.

Huh Kyung-hwan showcased a luxury SUV worth over 100 million won as his mode of transportation. Yoo Jae-suk humorously pointed out, "Isn't this car too expensive? It doesn't match our era." Huh candidly replied, "It's my dad's car. It's free. It's more comfortable than a friend's car."

Inside the car, adorned with Huh's photos, Yoo Jae-suk teased, "Shouldn't you be driving if it's your father's car?" Huh jokingly responded, "Isn't he my father?"

When Joo Woo-jae asked if Huh had bought the car for his father, Huh proudly confirmed, "I bought it for him," showcasing his filial side. Yoo Jae-suk then humorously pretended to drive away with the car, leaving Huh momentarily flustered, exclaiming, "Dad's car!" Haha reassured him, "He's not the type to run away," adding to the laughter.

During a Tongyeong tour led by Huh, the members engaged in a racing competition with a 309,000 won bet. Huh, who had already prepaid 185,000 won for a cable car and photo fees, jokingly threatened, "If you don't pay me back, I'll post it online," but ended up last in the race, drawing sympathy.

In the race, Yoo Jae-suk, known as 'Yoo Ma Huh', displayed impressive speed, while car racer Yang Sang-guk showcased remarkable skills, earning admiration.

Meanwhile, Huh Kyung-hwan, who previously ran a chicken breast business with an annual revenue of 70 billion won, stepped down from the business last year. Regarding rumors of his 8 billion won fortune, he clarified, "It would be cool to have it in cash, but it's too volatile," denying the claims.
