Former MBC Announcer Kim Dae-ho Discusses Potential Return and Personal Insights on 'Immortal Songs'
The episode featured a special segment titled 'Announcer Family Special,' where former announcers, including freelancer Kim Dae-ho, discussed their experiences. Fellow former KBS announcers expressed their struggles post-resignation. Kim Sun-geun admitted, "Even at this moment, I regret it," while Kim Hyun-wook shared concerns about events and income, humorously noting that he misses "salaries and bonuses" the most.
While Kim Sun-geun expressed a desire to return even as a new announcer, Kim Dae-ho's composed demeanor stood out. Kim Hyun-wook humorously summarized the contrast, saying, "Kim Sun-geun is desperate, while Kim Dae-ho seems like he's returning in triumph."
Now in his first year as a freelancer, Kim Dae-ho continues to actively participate in various broadcasts and advertisements, reflecting his ease in the industry.
Kim Dae-ho also expressed affection for his family during the show. His mother, Yoo Chun-ja, proudly shared, "When I meet acquaintances, they often praise me for raising my son well." However, she humorously added, "I don't know why such a great son isn't married yet," revealing a realistic concern.
He also shared a heartfelt confession about his mother, saying, "The person I disliked the most in the world was my mom," but realized, "The only person who could accept that resentment was my mom, and that realization was love," showcasing his deep family bond.
Meanwhile, Kim Dae-ho, who transitioned to freelancing after leaving MBC, remains active in broadcasting. However, his agency, One Hundred, is currently facing turmoil as artists like Taemin, Lee Moo-jin, Lee Seung-gi, and groups such as VIVIZ, EXO-CBX, and The Boyz have requested contract terminations.
