Park Ji-hoon, known for his role in the film 'The King and the Clown', is set to transform a military base into a culinary paradise in the upcoming drama 'The Legendary Cook'.

Premiering globally on May 11, the TVING original 'The Legendary Cook' is a military cooking fantasy drama that follows Private Kang Sung-jae (played by Park Ji-hoon) as he evolves into a 'legendary cook'. The drama promises a captivating story of Kang Sung-jae's growth as a cook after encountering a mysterious quest upon enlisting. A teaser video offering a glimpse into this legendary journey has been released.

The teaser begins with Kang Sung-jae struggling to hold back his nausea, capturing viewers' attention. The soldiers' cries of "Save us" hint at an extreme situation reminiscent of wartime.

Just as curiosity peaks about the unfolding events, the tension humorously dissipates. The soldiers' suffering is revealed to be due to the cooking skills of the inexperienced cook, Yoon Dong-hyun (played by Lee Hong-nae). Despite the chaos, Yoon Dong-hyun laughs it off, highlighting the grim reality of meal times at the base.

However, the culinary dark ages brought by Yoon Dong-hyun begin to brighten with the arrival of Private Kang Sung-jae in the kitchen. His high-quality dishes rejuvenate the soldiers, and the mess hall becomes lively once more.
