Actor Ahn Jae-hyun Breaks Down in Tears During Fortune Telling on 'Gugidong Friends'

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun was moved to tears during a fortune-telling session on the tvN variety show 'Gugidong Friends' aired on the 24th.

The episode featured Jang Do-yeon, Jang Keun-suk, Choi Daniel, Kyung Soo-jin, and Ahn Jae-hyun visiting a shaman to have their fortunes read.

Unlike his usual cheerful demeanor, Ahn appeared visibly tense. Both the shaman, Go Chun-ja, and her daughter-in-law, Lee Da-young, sighed simultaneously after examining Ahn's fortune.

Lee Da-young cautiously remarked, "There's a lot to say about him," and added, "His fortune suggests he could become a shaman, a monk, or a spiritual leader," which immediately changed the atmosphere.

The revelations continued as Lee stated, "His fortune indicates no wife, children, or support from parents or siblings. He is someone who stands strong on his own." She further explained, "He is fearless if he has confidence, but currently, he is wounded and withdrawn."

Lee advised, "There's no need to dwell on the past. The mistakes are over. He is an extraordinary person, so he should go out more and eat well. There's nothing nourishing about staying in."

Go Chun-ja, looking at Ahn with sympathy, noted, "He is someone who is very hungry for love." She added, "Even with parents and siblings, he has never received true love, so he doesn't know what it is."

As Ahn listened to the reading, which suggested he would have cried a lot if he weren't a man, his eyes welled up with tears. Jang Do-yeon and Kyung Soo-jin, who were watching, also became emotional and comforted him.

In an interview, Ahn shared, "It felt like watching a sad movie after a long time. Surprisingly, I felt at ease. I realized that my current self is still me, and it's important to express myself." He added, "Living without raising my voice isn't a bad life, but I've learned the importance of speaking with confidence."

Meanwhile, actor Ahn Jae-hyun married Goo Hye-sun in May 2016, but they finalized their divorce through the Seoul Family Court on July 15, 2020, after a period of discord.
