Shocking Revelations from 'Divorce Consideration Camp': The Story of the 'Gaji Couple'
On the episode aired on the 23rd, JTBC's 'Divorce Consideration Camp' featured the story of the 'Gaji Couple,' who started a family after the wife became pregnant at 19.
Kim Ha-eun, now 32, revealed that she met her husband, who was working as a temporary horse trainer, while she was in high school and became pregnant with their first child during her senior year.
Their first child is now 19, making the age difference between mother and son only 14 years. Reflecting on the past, Kim expressed regret, saying, "My husband approached me by asking to watch a movie together. If my daughter were in the same situation, I would have been furious."
Seo Jang-hoon commented, "In the end, it was a man in his 30s who seduced a high school student," criticizing the husband's actions.
Upon returning home, her husband would spend four hours on the couch without changing clothes. When it was revealed that he squandered 50 million won on game items, Kim couldn't hide her frustration and tears.
There were more shocking revelations. Kim disclosed that her husband continued playing games even during her labor with their second child and during intimate moments. His insensitive remarks, such as "You don't appreciate it when I help" and "You don't feed a caught fish," sparked outrage. He even reacted to the news of her first pregnancy with, "We're screwed."
Seo Jang-hoon questioned the husband, "Couldn't you have waited a bit? Didn't the school fire you?" The husband replied, "I quit since it was a temporary position anyway." Seo criticized him as "calculative," and Jin Tae-hyun expressed disbelief, calling it "premeditated."
The husband's insensitive remarks continued to draw anger. Besides saying, "You don't feed a caught fish," he also reacted to Kim's pregnancy news with, "We're screwed," causing public outrage.
Meanwhile, a video from the husband's side revealed that Kim suffers from severe depression and has overdosed on medication. It was also disclosed that she had previously attempted to take her own life, raising further concerns.
Seo Jang-hoon advised, "Without family, nothing else matters. While work and goals are important, it's crucial to find balance with family before it's too late."
