CJ ENM Launches New Cooking Show 'Cooking is Painful!' on YouTube and tvN

CJ ENM is set to launch a new variety show, 'Cooking is Painful!'.

Premiering on May 9th, Saturday, on YouTube channel and tvN, 'Cooking is Painful!' is a variety show capturing a 'cooking exhibition' project where chefs gather to explore new culinary ideas. The show will feature 'show chef' Kim Poong, 'Queen of Dim Sum' Jung Ji-sun, 'Chinese Cuisine Witch' Lee Moon-jung, 'Business Genius' Jo Seo-hyung, and comedian Lee Eun-ji. With unique culinary experiences promised, including a gourmet workshop and a never-before-seen 4-person collaborative cooking show, anticipation is already high.

The chemistry among the team of chefs is also drawing curiosity. Veteran Chinese cuisine chef with 25 years of experience and the reliable eldest sister of 'Cooking is Painful!', Lee Moon-jung, will be joined by Jung Ji-sun, who will hold the team together with her overwhelming presence. Jo Seo-hyung, a professional chef, will enjoy being the youngest among the sisters, while Kim Poong, who might become their beloved mascot, promises unpredictable chemistry and big laughs. Lee Eun-ji, who has taken on the role of the chefs' manager with her love for food, adds to the intrigue with her cheerful energy.

Meanwhile, the production team of 'Cooking is Painful!' has released a poster featuring the four chefs and manager Lee Eun-ji, capturing attention. The chefs' determined yet confident smiles, along with the vibrant energy of Lee Eun-ji and the flying ingredients, and the phrase 'Chef Team Play' make the unique team journey of the chefs even more anticipated.

In other news, a controversy arose on the 21st when a post on an online community claimed that wine was swapped at Chef An Sung-jae's restaurant. MoSu Seoul later issued an official apology to address the situation.

'Cooking is Painful!' will premiere on May 9th, Saturday, at 6 PM on YouTube channel and at 10:40 PM on tvN.
