Hilarious Money Battle Unfolds in Tongyeong on 'Hangout with Yoo'

The 'Hangout with Yoo' cast, known as the 'Country Bumpkins,' are set to engage in a fierce money battle in Tongyeong, following their previous escapades in Seoul and Gimhae. Former regular cast member Lee Yi-kyung stepped down last November due to personal controversies. Since then, the show has been praised for regaining its popularity, thanks to the comedians' performances.

The upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo,' airing on the 25th, is titled 'The Golden Age of Country Bumpkins - Money War 3 in Tongyeong.' The teaser, parodying BTS's '2.0,' has already sparked laughter and heightened anticipation for 'Money War 3.0.'

In the teaser, the 'Country Bumpkins' make a dramatic entrance in an elevator, exuding a noir film vibe. Yoo Jae-suk, known as the 'Big Brother with No Grudges,' Haha as the 'Betting Henchman,' Heo Kyung-hwan as the 'Tongyeong Loyal Dog,' Joo Woo-jae as the 'Backstabber Planner,' and Yang Sang-guk as the 'Gimhae ATM' each showcase their unique characters. With comedic makeup and props mirroring BTS, the cast delivers a wild dance instead of a synchronized performance, eliciting laughter.

The Tongyeong episode begins with tension, as 'Big Brother' Yoo Jae-suk, still smarting from being betrayed and left with the bill during the Gimhae trip, pretends to be magnanimous but shows signs of being upset.

A fierce battle of wits ensues as the cast tries to get a free meal from 'Tongyeong's Star' Heo Kyung-hwan. A key point of interest is whether 'Zero Spender' Joo Woo-jae, who has yet to spend any money, can continue to keep his wallet closed. As everyone tries to avoid spending, viewers are eager to see who will end up with the biggest financial hit.
