Tension Rises in 'Dr. Shin' as Baek Se-ra and Joo Se-bin Face Off in Eerie Karaoke Scene

With only four episodes left until the finale, TV CHOSUN's 'Dr. Shin' is ramping up the tension as Baek Se-ra and Joo Se-bin engage in a chilling karaoke showdown. Despite being a new work by the renowned writer Im Sung-han, 'Dr. Shin' is struggling with ratings, currently hovering around 1%.

In the previous episode, Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) shocked viewers by deciding to marry Mo-mo (Baek Se-ra), who possesses the brain of Kim Jin-joo (Cheon Young-min), while Geum Ba-ra (Joo Se-bin) and Ha Yong-jung (Ahn Woo-yeon) dealt with the aftermath of a one-night stand. Geum Ba-ra, after breaking up with Ha Yong-jung, found solace in Shin Ju-shin's care, while Ha Yong-jung, misunderstanding the relationship between Shin Ju-shin and Geum Ba-ra, proposed to Mo-mo, creating a stark contrast.

In the upcoming 13th episode, airing on the 25th, Baek Se-ra and Joo Se-bin will create an ominous atmosphere during a tense karaoke encounter. In the scene, Mo-mo (with Kim Jin-joo's brain) and Geum Ba-ra meet at a karaoke bar. Mo-mo unexpectedly takes the stage, adding dance moves to her passionate singing. As Geum Ba-ra listens, she suddenly freezes, recalling someone from her past. The reason behind Geum Ba-ra's chilling expression and Mo-mo's intent in her musical performance heighten the intrigue.

Baek Se-ra and Joo Se-bin vividly portray the contrasting emotions of Mo-mo (with Kim Jin-joo's brain) and Geum Ba-ra, enhancing the scene's immersion. Baek Se-ra skillfully embodies the complex character of Mo-mo, transitioning from a desire-filled expression to a playful singing prowess. Joo Se-bin captures Geum Ba-ra's emotional turmoil, starting with a restrained expression and culminating in a shocked, rigid demeanor.

The production team stated, "The key point to watch in episode 13 is how far Kim Jin-joo's Mo-mo will go in her quest for revenge as she approaches marriage with Ha Yong-jung. This episode promises to deliver a thrilling mix of romance and tension."
