Kang Ho-dong returns as a solo host after 13 years with the Coupang Play variety show 'Kang Ho-dong's Bookstore', featuring renowned pansori artist Lee Ja-ram.

'Kang Ho-dong's Bookstore' is a talk show where the loud-voiced yet soft-hearted INFP bookstore owner 'Hocrates' (Kang Ho-dong) engages in heartfelt conversations with guests who visit his bookstore. In the released trailer, Lee Ja-ram, a representative pansori artist of the era, makes an appearance, captivating the bookstore with her delightful storytelling reminiscent of a pansori performance. She opens the conversation by sharing her tumultuous life journey, from being a beloved child star to choosing the path of pansori.

Recalling her first encounter with pansori, Lee Ja-ram humorously remarks, "The sound was so ugly," instantly bringing a smile to Hocrates' face and creating a cheerful atmosphere. She continues to showcase her diverse talents by vividly recounting behind-the-scenes stories of her international performances that broke language barriers and captivated audiences worldwide.

This episode is particularly anticipated as it features the first live pansori performance on 'Kang Ho-dong's Bookstore'. With just a snippet of her impromptu performance, Lee Ja-ram transforms the bookstore's ambiance, delivering a spine-tingling experience akin to a live stage scene.
