Singer Lee Do-jin Concludes His Journey with a Heartfelt Performance on 'Legend of the Unknown'

Singer Lee Do-jin (36) has concluded his long journey with a heartfelt performance.

On the night of the 22nd, Lee Do-jin wrapped up his stage journey on the 9th episode of MBN's 'Legend of the Unknown' after the third round of the National Song Contest.

In the previous episode, Lee Do-jin formed the 'Simkoongdan' team with Moon Eun-seok, Kim Tae-woong, Son Eun-seol, and Kim Han-yul to compete in the first round team medley battle. Despite scoring 914 points from the Top Pro team and 158 points from the National Pro team, totaling 1072 points and placing third, the team couldn't overcome the score gap in the second round ace battle and faced elimination. Ultimately, Lee Do-jin was among the 13 eliminated contestants, marking the end of his journey.

Earlier, Lee Do-jin made a strong impression by advancing to the finals in 8th place with a deeply emotional performance of Kim Yong-im's 'Hwal Hwal Hwal'. He showcased his charm as part of the 'TOP3 Sweet Man' team and delivered a touching performance in the 1:1 death match with a line dance team and 80-year-old grandmothers, bridging generations with 'Today is a Young Day'. This stage, filled with lively energy and heartfelt interaction, was considered legendary.

In the third round of the finals, Lee Do-jin's excellent vocal skills and stable stage presence stood out, along with his role as the team's eldest, providing support and care for younger participants like Kim Tae-woong, Son Eun-seol, and Kim Han-yul, leaving a deep impression both on and off the stage.

Despite being diagnosed with hearing loss and vocal cord nodules three years ago, Lee Do-jin never gave up on his passion for the stage. Through 'Legend of the Unknown', he proved his ability to surpass his limits. Although his journey ended here, the sincerity he left behind continues to resonate.

Lee Do-jin plans to continue his active music career through various stages and broadcasts.
