Actress Park Hae-mi recently revealed a past health scare where her blood pressure soared to 220 due to extreme stress.

On the October 22nd episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life,' Park Hae-mi appeared to discuss health topics with the show's hosts.

When asked about her experience with menopause, Park shared, "I experienced hot flashes. I thought it was just because I was sensitive to heat, so I didn't realize it was menopause." She continued, "In 2021, I had my first health check-up. During a colonoscopy, a very large polyp was discovered."

Park also shared her experience of health issues caused by excessive stress. She said, "There was a time when I was traveling back and forth between Seoul and Busan for long-distance schedules. It was physically exhausting and affected my drama filming." She added, "After filming, I rushed to the hospital and found my blood pressure had skyrocketed to 220mmHg. Fortunately, I haven't had any other health issues since then."

In other news, Park Hae-mi divorced performance planner Hwang Min in 2019. Hwang was involved in a drunk driving accident in 2018, crashing his sports car into a parked 25-ton truck. The accident resulted in the deaths of two theater troupe members and actors who were passengers, and injuries to three others, including Hwang. As his wife, Park took moral responsibility for Hwang's actions, apologized to the victims and their families, and temporarily stepped down from her musical performances.
