Kim Hee-ae Returns to JTBC with a Thrilling Romance in 'Gold Digger'

Actress Kim Hee-ae is set to star alongside 23-year-younger actor Noh Sang-hyun in the upcoming JTBC drama 'Gold Digger'.

'Gold Digger' is a mystery romance drama that explores whether the relationship between a successful middle-aged woman and a dangerously charming young man is genuine love or a deceitful scam. The drama delves into the suspicions and misunderstandings that arise between the two.

Kim Hee-ae, who captivated audiences with her intense melodrama in 'The World of the Married', which broke the 30% viewership mark and set a record for the highest ratings on a non-terrestrial network, is making her return to JTBC after six years, drawing significant attention. Joining her is Noh Sang-hyun, known for his strong presence and solid acting skills in 'The 21st Century Grand Prince', who is expected to create a thrilling synergy with Kim Hee-ae.

In the drama, Kim Hee-ae will portray Min Young-joo, a publishing company CEO at the peak of her career. Her character becomes entangled with Jung Jae-hee, played by Noh Sang-hyun, leading to a tumultuous journey between love and suspicion. Noh Sang-hyun takes on the role of Jung Jae-hee, a freelance designer with an irresistible and fatal charm, promising an exciting performance.
