Director Han Tae-seop Reveals Casting Insights for SBS's New Drama 'Brave New World'

Director Han Tae-seop of SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'Brave New World' has shared his trust in actress Lim Ji-yeon and the behind-the-scenes of her casting. The drama, set to premiere on May 8 at 9:50 PM, is a romantic comedy about a nameless actress, Shin Se-ri, possessed by the spirit of a notorious Joseon villainess, and Cha Se-gye, a ruthless chaebol known as a monster of capitalism. Directed by Han Tae-seop, known for 'Stove League' and 'Cheer Up', and written by newcomer Kang Hyun-joo, the series stars Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon in their first romantic pairing.

Director Han expressed his confidence in Lim Ji-yeon, stating, "Lim Ji-yeon was the top choice for both the writer and me. Her unique charm, proven through various roles, mirrors the resilience of Shin Se-ri, who navigates through life's turbulent fate." He added, "Lim Ji-yeon embodies the adorable yet delightful character of Shin Se-ri, making her the 'one and only' choice for the role."
