On the 21st, ahead of the second episode, ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow' released stills of Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo) diving into the investigation of the Kangseong serial murder case. The involvement of Seo Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young), a reporter and Kang Tae-joo's close friend, in the investigation adds to the intrigue.

'Scarecrow' has announced its arrival as a well-crafted crime thriller, captivating viewers with its intense immersion from the first episode. The stellar performances of Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-jun, and Kwak Sun-young, along with detailed and stylish direction and a gripping script, have created a perfect synergy. The drama draws attention with the prologue and epilogue featuring the start of the Kangseong serial murder case in 1988 and the capture of the real culprit, Lee Yong-woo, 30 years later in 2019.

The previous episode depicted the reunion of Kang Tae-joo and Cha Si-young (played by Lee Hee-jun). Convinced that the recent three murders in the Kangseong area are serial killings, Kang Tae-joo teams up with prosecutor Hwang Jae-hoon (played by Park Sung-hoon) and unexpectedly seeks revenge on Cha Si-young. Cha Si-young's warning, "I'll come back for this case. And I'll keep you by my side, just like before," highlights the ongoing story of the two men's bitter past.

Now the detective in charge of the Kangseong serial murder case, Kang Tae-joo is seen in the released photos having a serious conversation with Seo Ji-won. The neatly folded clothes in Seo Ji-won's hands catch the eye, as they plan a sting operation to lure the disguised 'Scarecrow' out. Seo Ji-won, walking alone in the dark with a slightly awkward outfit, shows evident tension on her face. Kang Tae-joo and Park Dae-ho (played by Ryu Hae-jun) are also spotted surveilling the area from the cornfields. The outcome of whether the criminal, who targets women walking at night, will reveal himself is highly anticipated.

The production team stated, "As the conflict and rivalry between Kang Tae-joo and Cha Si-young deepen, the twists and turns will continue. Watch how their seemingly impossible collaboration begins and the unpredictable twists in the investigation unfold."

'Scarecrow' episode 2 airs at 10 PM tonight.
