Intense Showdown Awaits on SBS's 'Goal-Scoring Girls': FC National Family vs. FC Tall and Graceful
The third match of the second G-League Interleague will be revealed on SBS's 'Goal-Scoring Girls'. This episode features a fierce showdown between the recent season's championship teams: the first GIFA Cup winners 'FC National Family' and the first G-League winners 'FC Tall and Graceful'. While FC National Family has secured a spot in the semifinals with an undefeated streak in the group stage, FC Tall and Graceful must win to advance. Lee Hyun-yi, the determined captain of FC Tall and Graceful, stated, "We have nothing to lose. We plan to give it our all in this match." All eyes are on whether FC Tall and Graceful can overcome the 'Tiger Squad' FC National Family and make it to the semifinals.
The key highlight of this match is undoubtedly the showdown between the goalkeepers of both teams. Volleyball player-turned-goalkeepers Si Eun-mi and Jung Da-eun, who share a senior-junior relationship in volleyball, will face off on the field. Notably, Si Eun-mi of the National Family, a volleyball senior, has allowed only one goal in the group stage this season, showcasing her prowess as the 'strongest current goalkeeper'. In response, FC Tall and Graceful's coach Kim Young-kwang, a former national team goalkeeper, has been focusing on one-on-one coaching with Jung Da-eun to enhance her practical skills for the match against the National Family. The question remains whether Jung Da-eun can surpass the 'Iron Wall' Si Eun-mi and claim the title of 'NEW Spider Hands'.
Meanwhile, a special guest visited the stadium to support FC Tall and Graceful. The guest was none other than Jonathan, a broadcaster from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Before the match, Jonathan visited FC Tall and Graceful's locker room to boost morale and added energy to the scene with his 'living room reaction', as if watching TV at home, throughout the game. With the support of 'MZ Icon' Jonathan, attention is on whether FC Tall and Graceful can secure a victory against the formidable National Family.
In other news, SBS's 'Goal-Scoring Girls' will move its broadcast time from 9 PM to 10:20 PM on Wednesdays, following the scheduling of the new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out Again' starting on the 22nd.
Catch 'Goal-Scoring Girls' on Wednesday, the 22nd, at 10:20 PM.
