Kwak Sun-young Shines in ENA's New Drama 'Scarecrow' and Joins 'Brave Detectives 5' as Host

Korean actress Kwak Sun-young captivates audiences with her powerful charisma in ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow,' which premiered on the 20th.

In 'Scarecrow,' Kwak plays Seo Ji-won, a dedicated journalist and childhood friend of detective Kang Tae-joo, portrayed by Park Hae-soo. The drama unfolds as a detective investigating a serial murder case unexpectedly teams up with someone he despises.

Kwak's character, Seo Ji-won, is not only a journalist with a strong sense of duty and conviction but also serves as a crucial ally to her long-time friend Tae-joo, adding a unique tension to the storyline.

Kwak Sun-young enhances her role with her distinctively cool yet gentle charisma, voice, and delivery, perfectly embodying the 1980s setting with period-appropriate hairstyles, costumes, and props.

In addition to her role in 'Scarecrow,' Kwak has joined E Channel's 'Brave Detectives 5' as a new MC. Her vibrant voice and engaging presence lead the new season, as she immerses herself in the detectives' stories, expressing disbelief and anger at the shocking cases.

ENA's 'Scarecrow' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM and is also available on KT Genie TV and TVING.
