Jang Keun-suk Clarifies Controversial Comment at Japanese Fan Meeting

Jang Keun-suk has addressed the remarks he made during a Japanese fan meeting.

On the October 20th episode of SBS's variety show 'But Seriously!', Jang Keun-suk and Choi Daniel appeared as guests.

During the show, Lee Sang-min mentioned to Jang Keun-suk, "I heard you asked 'Who wants to sleep with me?' at a Japanese fan meeting."

Jang Keun-suk expressed his frustration, clarifying, "That's not true." He explained, "I actually said 'Who wants to lie down with me?'" and reenacted the situation.

He described how he appeared lying down under dim lights, and when the lights came on, he performed by asking, "Who wants to lie down with me?"

Regarding his nickname 'Asia Prince,' Jang Keun-suk shared, "The term 'Hallyu star' felt cliché, so I wanted a unique moniker. I came up with 'Asia Prince' as a witty alternative." He added, "Initially, people laughed and pointed fingers, but eventually, even the media started using it and acknowledged it."
