Trainer Yang Chi-seung Reveals Heartwarming Story of Actress Park Ha-na's Generosity
On the October 19th episode of SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling,' Yang Chi-seung appeared and discussed the fraud he experienced during the closure of his gym and his current situation. He revealed that while operating a gym in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, he was unable to retrieve his deposit due to a building donation issue, resulting in losses exceeding 1.5 billion KRW (approximately $1.3 million).
Yang stated, "The show mentioned the loss was 1.5 billion KRW, but it was actually more," adding, "I even took out a mortgage on my apartment and am still repaying it." He further explained, "I sold my car to refund the gym members."
In these challenging times, Park Ha-na's support was a significant help. Yang emphasized, "On the day of the closure, while I was organizing things, Park Ha-na called and asked for my account details." After about 30 minutes of back-and-forth, he eventually provided his account number, and her assistance was crucial in covering the refund shortfall.
Following the broadcast, Park Ha-na's personal social media was flooded with comments praising her character, such as "a loyal person," "a true friend," and "beautiful inside and out," with waves of support continuing.
Meanwhile, Park Ha-na married former basketball coach Kim Tae-sool in June last year. She has since shared updates about preparing for a child and undergoing IVF treatment, receiving much support. She continues to actively work in dramas like 'Gentleman and Lady,' 'Bride of the Typhoon,' and 'Let's Get Married, Mangong!'
