NCT WISH Showcases Unexpected Variety Skills in Hilarious Encounter with BIGBANG's Daesung
On BIGBANG Daesung's YouTube channel 'Jipdaesung', a video titled 'The Incident of NCT WISH Becoming Areshi' was uploaded.
In the video, NCT WISH members appeared to take on a choreography test for their debut song 'WISH'. The highlight of the test was to see how well the members could maintain their synchronized movements when the music stopped unexpectedly.
Before the challenge began, Sakuya boldly declared, "If we don't do this right, we'll change our team name to 'Areshi'." Daesung added tension, fueling the members' competitive spirit. However, the other members humorously suggested that only Sakuya should change his name if he made a mistake, showcasing their unique team dynamics from the start.
As the test began with high expectations, chaos ensued when the music stopped. The members' arm angles and eye directions were all over the place.
Sion was initially singled out as the culprit for performing a noticeably different move, but it was revealed that all the other members, except Sion, had made mistakes. Sion confidently stood his ground, while Sakuya jokingly declared, "This is now Areshi," creating an impromptu team split scenario.
Daesung, observing the scene, humorously decided to "check the members' mental state" and called in the manager, who also joined in the comedic act by sternly telling the members to get it together. Despite having just finished a performance two days prior, Yushi sincerely apologized for the choreography mishap, but Daesung reassured them it was all in good fun, maintaining a warm atmosphere.
After much trial and error, NCT WISH finally nailed the choreography in the latter part of the song, never losing their cheerful energy.
Daesung named Sakuya, who showed signs of losing focus, as the MVP, while Sion humorously remarked that he didn't expect to lose a member on the show, wrapping up the segment with wit and showcasing great chemistry with Daesung. NCT WISH demonstrated their fresh charm and seasoned variety skills, proving their endearing human side behind their performances.
