Kim Jae-won Shines in Dual Roles in 'Yumi's Cells Season 3'
On the October 20th episode of tvN's 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' (directed by Lee Sang-yeob, written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran), the daily life of the introverted Shin Soon-rok (played by Kim Jae-won) was depicted.
In this episode, Shin Soon-rok is portrayed as rational, calm, and meticulous at work, but he often feels drained as he expends energy in social settings. Despite his desire to avoid social gatherings and head home, he participates in outings to baseball games, movie theaters, and dinners to maintain his social life.
After a series of events, Shin Soon-rok arrives at the office by taxi, completely exhausted. Upon seeing Kim Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) holding a Maltese, he internally remarks, 'If even animals appear in this unfamiliar team,' feeling further drained.
After completing all his tasks, Shin Soon-rok returns home, loosens his tie, and changes into comfortable clothes. His cells rejoice, saying, "Home is the best." Shedding his suit and tie, he relaxes completely at home, stating, "All my emotions awaken only at home." He enjoys cooking dumplings, listening to music, taking a half-bath, and watching baseball and movies, visibly more energized. With his tension relieved, he finally reviews Kim Yumi's script thoroughly and sends feedback via email.
