Jung Moon-sung Returns to TV in ENA's New Thriller 'Scarecrow'

Actor Jung Moon-sung is making his return to the small screen after two years.

Premiering today (20th), the ENA drama 'Scarecrow' will feature Jung as Ki-hwan, a local bookstore owner, showcasing yet another transformation in his acting career.

ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow' is a crime thriller that unfolds as a detective, investigating a serial murder case, unexpectedly teams up with someone he despises. The drama stars trusted actors such as Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-jun, and Kwak Sun-young, enhancing its quality.

Jung Moon-sung plays Lee Ki-hwan, a childhood friend of Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo) and Seo Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young), who grew up in the same town. Ki-hwan runs a local bookstore with his brother Lee Ki-beom (played by Song Geon-hee), delivering a realistic performance with his quiet yet diligent and steadfast character.

Ki-hwan's character adds tension as he becomes intricately involved in a series of events with his friends Tae-joo and Ji-won, promising to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Jung Moon-sung expanded his acting spectrum infinitely with his debut in the 2025 musical 'Behind the Moon', taking on his first solo performance with genuine and deeply emotional acting. Returning to television after two years since tvN's 'Thank You' in 2024, anticipation is high for his impressive performance.
