TV CHOSUN's 'Doctor Shin' Ratings Drop as Writer Im Sung-han Reveals Her Face After 36 Years

The latest episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Doctor Shin' saw its ratings drop from 1.5% to 1.1%. Meanwhile, writer Im Sung-han made headlines by revealing her face for the first time in 36 years on a YouTube channel on the 17th.

The 11th episode, aired on the 18th, featured Geum Bara (played by Joo Se-bin) spending a night with Ha Yong-jung (played by Ahn Woo-yeon) and later announcing her sudden departure. Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) discovered that the person Geum Bara likes is Ha Yong-jung. The episode's ratings fell to 1.1%, down from the 1.5% recorded for the 10th episode aired on the 12th.

Shin Ju-shin expressed his feelings to Geum Bara when she was startled by thunder and lightning, holding her tightly. Despite feeling awkward, Geum Bara suggested he leave, but Shin Ju-shin used hunger as an excuse to take her to an unmanned ramen cafe. He surprised Geum Bara by eating her ice cream, joking, "Beneficial bacteria are good to share," which made her laugh.

Shin Ju-shin playfully asked for a kiss, claiming it was good for immunity, but was rejected. He confessed, "I didn't expect to like you," while Geum Bara reflected on her feelings for Ha Yong-jung, realizing there was no romantic spark. Shin Ju-shin assured her, "I'll wait. I don't want to force feelings."

Meanwhile, Ha Yong-jung saw Geum Bara getting out of Shin Ju-shin's car and was surprised. He confronted Shin Ju-shin about his relationship with Geum Bara, to which Shin Ju-shin replied, "Not yet, but I proposed," revealing he was rejected. Ha Yong-jung advised against pursuing Geum Bara, but Shin Ju-shin insisted his feelings were genuine.

Shin Ju-shin later confided in Momo (played by Baek Seo-ra), who has Kim Jin-joo's brain, about his proposal to Geum Bara. Momo, angered, threatened to reveal her true identity. As tensions rose, Momo confronted Geum Bara about the proposal, leading to a heated exchange.

Geum Bara later drank with Ha Yong-jung, who questioned her feelings for Shin Ju-shin. Slightly intoxicated, Geum Bara teased Ha Yong-jung, hinting she might have considered Shin Ju-shin if not for Momo. Ha Yong-jung expressed concern, fearing a painful end like Momo's.

Geum Bara revealed she learned to dance for her wedding party, leading to a dance with Ha Yong-jung. As they danced, the atmosphere became intimate, culminating in a passionate night together.

Afterward, Geum Bara greeted Ha Yong-jung at the airport, but soon after, Shin Ju-shin learned from Momo that Geum Bara planned to leave the country. Rushing to her home, he found packed luggage and confronted her.

Geum Bara admitted she was leaving because she had feelings for someone else, hinting at Ha Yong-jung. As Shin Ju-shin pressed for answers, Geum Bara suddenly experienced chest pain and struggled to breathe, leading to a dramatic scene where Shin Ju-shin performed CPR in an ambulance.
