The incident occurred on October 20 last year, around 1 AM, at a restaurant where Kim had gone to dine with his son. A dispute over noise with men at another table escalated into a physical altercation. CCTV footage from the restaurant shows a man choking Kim from behind, causing him to fall, while another man drags him out of the camera's view. The family was later informed by the police that the initial investigation concluded it was a mutual assault, identifying only one suspect. Further investigation identified two suspects, but the arrest warrant was dismissed. Despite police claims of a thorough investigation, suspicions persist.
