Rising Star Hong Bi-ra Cast as Fiancée in Upcoming Crime Thriller 'Scarecrow'
Actress Hong Bi-ra (29) is set to play the role of the fiancée to Lee Hee-jun (46) in the upcoming ENA drama 'Scarecrow'.

Hong Bi-ra has confirmed her appearance in 'Scarecrow', a new Monday-Tuesday drama premiering on the 20th. 'Scarecrow' is a crime thriller that follows a detective investigating a serial murder case who unexpectedly forms an alliance with someone he despises. The drama spans 30 years, from 1988 to 2019, and promises a gripping storyline with a stellar cast including Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-jun, and Kwak Sun-young.

In the drama, Hong Bi-ra will portray 'Hee-jin', the fiancée of prosecutor Cha Si-young, played by Lee Hee-jun. Her character is expected to seamlessly integrate into the narrative, adding a sense of realism. Her stable chemistry with Lee Hee-jun is anticipated to enhance the drama's impact.

Since her debut in the 2018 film 'Beautiful Vampire', Hong Bi-ra has steadily built her filmography, appearing in both dramas and films. She made a notable impression in SBS's 'Again My Life' and JTBC's 'Bad Mother', showcasing her presence.
