Actor Koo Seong-hwan Embarks on a 446km Journey from Seoul to Busan in Memory of Beloved Dog 'Kkotbuni'
The upcoming episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone', airing on the 17th, will showcase Koo Seong-hwan's ambitious trek from Seoul to Busan.
Koo Seong-hwan appears noticeably slimmer, surprising the show's cast as he announces, "I am currently on a journey from Seoul to Busan." This marks his third attempt at this journey, having previously failed in his 20s due to youthful enthusiasm and ambition.
Having walked 421km over 16 days, Koo is just 25km away from his final destination. Driven by thoughts of 'Kkotbuni', he expresses his overwhelming emotions, saying, "I feel like I might cry." Despite the physical toll, with his body covered in patches and limping, he perseveres to complete the journey.
Koo is seen with a 'Kkotbuni keychain' on his bag and a 'Kkotbuni bracelet' on his wrist, touching viewers with his dedication. As he walks along a path lined with blooming cherry blossoms, he reflects, "I don't think I'll ever forget this until the day I die," offering a poignant moment of romance amidst adversity. The journey, a final trip with 'Kkotbuni', is anticipated to conclude safely.
