Comedian Jang Dong-min Opens Up About Painful Experience with Thread Lifting Procedure

Comedian Jang Dong-min, 46, recently shared his painful experience following a thread lifting procedure.

On the October 15th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' Jang Dong-min appeared alongside actor Seo Hyun-chul, musical actor and singer Cha Ji-yeon, and beatboxer WING in a special episode titled 'Oh My GOD.'

Jang Dong-min, who recently underwent a thread lifting procedure, revealed, "I've never had any cosmetic treatments before, but my mother-in-law was upset because I looked older on TV." He explained that he visited the clinic with his wife.

Initially hesitant, Jang Dong-min decided to go through with the procedure after being assured it was painless and wouldn't leave bruises. However, he confessed, "As soon as the anesthesia wore off, I felt pain. I couldn't even touch my face to wash it. Even the shower water caused me to scream," describing the agony he felt even from clothes brushing against his skin.

Despite a week of discomfort, Jang Dong-min now feels no pain and is satisfied with the results. He also expressed interest in undergoing an under-eye fat repositioning procedure, noting, "I found out that everyone around me had already done it except me," expressing a sense of betrayal.

In response, Kim Gura commented, "You went all out from the start," suggesting that procedures like Ulthera, Thermage, and Sculptra are usually the starting point. He added that he himself has undergone treatments, except for his frown lines, which he prefers to keep natural, while mixing Ulthera, Thermage, and Sculptra for other areas.
