First Look at 'Brave New World': Huh Nam-joon as the Ruthless Cha Se-gye
Premiering on May 8, SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Brave New World' is a romantic comedy that depicts a high-stakes, explosive war between Shin Se-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), a struggling actress possessed by the spirit of a notorious Joseon-era villainess, and Cha Se-gye (played by Huh Nam-joon), a chaebol known as a 'monster of capitalism.' Directed by Han Tae-seop, known for 'Stove League' and 'Cheer Up,' and written by newcomer Kang Hyun-joo, the drama promises a synergy of villainy with trusted actors Lim Ji-yeon and Huh Nam-joon.
Huh Nam-joon takes on the role of 'Cha Se-gye,' the 'ruthless chaebol' in 'Brave New World.' Cha Se-gye is the grandson of Cha Dal-soo (played by Yoon Joo-sang) and a third-generation chaebol, infamous for declaring, “Marriage is a merger,” earning him the nickname 'monster of capitalism.'
Anticipation is high for the tumultuous storyline and explosive synergy as the infamous Cha Se-gye encounters Shin Se-ri, who possesses the spirit of Joseon villainess Kang Dan-sim.
'Brave New World' premieres on May 8 at 9:50 PM.
