Former Soccer Star Ahn Jung-hwan Donates $3.6 Million from YouTube Earnings on 'You Quiz on the Block'

Former soccer player Ahn Jung-hwan reveals his generous donation of 4.36 billion won (approximately $3.6 million) from his YouTube earnings on the tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block'.

The 339th episode of 'You Quiz on the Block', airing on the 15th, features a diverse lineup including Yoo Ha-jin, a student who chose to pursue education over medicine, Professor Jung Hyun-chae, who has lectured on thanatology for 20 years, Korean soccer legend Ahn Jung-hwan, and the stars of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2', Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

During the episode, Ahn Jung-hwan, known for his prime as 'Terius' and 'Anne', engages in a lively conversation with Yoo Jae-suk. Ahn, who recently warmed hearts with his donation, shares his humble beginnings, stating, "I wasn't well-off as a child."

He also recounts how he started playing soccer to stave off hunger with bread and milk, his heyday as 'Terius' receiving 500 fan letters, and behind-the-scenes stories from the World Cup that captivated the nation.
