Korean Actor Kim Sung-kyun Reveals Vasectomy After Welcoming Three Children
On the October 13th episode of SBS's 'But Seriously', actor Kim Sung-kyun and comedian Yang Sang-guk appeared as guests.
Lee Sang-min expressed surprise, asking Kim, "Did you really have children while living in a semi-basement?" Yang Sang-guk humorously added, "The smaller the space, the higher the chances of having kids."
Kim, who is a father of three, revealed, "After moving to Seoul and getting married, we lived in a semi-basement until our first son was born." Interestingly, his career flourished with each child's birth. "After my first child was born, I worked on 'Nameless Gangster', after the second, 'Reply 1994', and after the third, 'Reply 1988' became a hit," he recounted.
Yang Sang-guk joked, "If there are no projects, have another child," and Lee Soo-ji chimed in with, "Go for a fourth!" In response, Kim revealed his vasectomy, saying, "I've decided to stop. I'm content with three children. I went into the surgery room with the mindset of cherishing my family." He humorously added, "I couldn't be the only one, so I went with three of my closest friends."
