Shin Dong-yup Shares Insights on Working with Wife Sun Hye-yun PD

Shin Dong-yup recently opened up about working with his wife, PD Sun Hye-yun, describing their dynamic as somewhat hierarchical.

On the latest episode of the YouTube web show 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup,' released on the 13th, a video titled 'Yo~ You Can't Do That Here' featured actors Jung Woo, Hyun Bong-sik, and Shin Seung-ho from the movie 'Jjangu.'

During the episode, actress Kim Yoo-mi, who is also Jung Woo's wife, visited the set to support her husband. Jung Woo shared, "My wife participated in the planning of this movie. Yoo-mi found the episodes on my paper very intriguing and helped connect us with the production company."

He added, "The project gained momentum, and we were able to refine the script, complete production, and are now preparing for its release."

Regarding working with his spouse, Shin Dong-yup commented, "It's a different feeling for me. We worked together on a variety show called 'Oppa Band.' Since my wife was the PD, I had to follow her cues. If I was distracted, she'd prompt me to focus, and I had to comply. It felt a bit like a master-servant relationship."

Shin Dong-yup also revealed that Sun Hye-yun is a fan of Jung Woo, who played the character 'Trash' in 'Reply 1994.' He said, "My wife's phone wallpaper was Jung Woo. She really liked him."
