Park Ye-young Joins New SBS Drama 'Sold Out Again Today'
'Sold Out Again Today' is a seasonal romance drama that follows the story of perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka Quail), played by Ahn Hyo-seop, and top-selling shopping host Dam Ye-jin, played by Chae Won-bin, as they become entangled day and night.
Park Ye-young will take on the role of 'Eom Seong-mi', a hit home shopping PD. Eom Seong-mi is an ace who skillfully manages unpredictable variables in live broadcasts and is filled with a passionate zeal for her work. Her straightforward and easily excitable personality often draws complaints from the hosts, but she is also a supportive friend who offers encouragement and comfort to Ye-jin, the top shopping host and a workaholic at Hit Home Shopping.
Park Ye-young has showcased a wide range of characters in various genres, including tvN's 'The Enchanted', 'Ask the Stars', 'Unknown Seoul', and the film 'Sister Yoo-jung'. Notably, in the drama 'Unknown Seoul', she portrayed Kim Soo-yeon, a senior colleague to Yoo Mi-rae (played by Park Bo-young), delivering a compelling performance that captured both the warmth of a mentor and the pain of a workplace harassment victim.
Having recently confirmed her role in the upcoming tvN drama 'Going to Work Tomorrow!' starring Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun, Park Ye-young continues her relentless acting journey with 'Sold Out Again Today'. Her ability to bring vibrant characters to life with her unique flair has garnered attention for her new acting transformation.
'Sold Out Again Today' is set to premiere on the 22nd at 9 PM.
