Tensions Rise in 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' as Family Drama Unfolds
In the third episode of KBS 2TV's mini-series 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' (directed by Choi Yeon-soo, written by Song Jeong-rim and Wang Hye-ji, produced by Sim Story), airing on the 9th at 9:50 PM, K-family patriarch Seong Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong) struggles with both cabbage farming and parenting after being demoted to Yeonliri.
In the previous episode, Seong Tae-hoon successfully sprouted cabbage seeds despite the interference of village chief Im Joo-hyung (played by Lee Seo-hwan), but his joy was short-lived. His sons, Seong Ji-sang (played by Seo Yoon-hyuk) and Seong Ji-gu (played by Yang Woo-hyuk), ran away from home, and his wife, Jo Mi-ryeo (played by Lee Soo-kyung), experienced breathing difficulties in front of the village women's association, casting a shadow over the family's daily life.
The stills released on the 8th show Seong Tae-hoon lying weakly in bed. Jo Mi-ryeo looks at her husband with concern, raising questions about how she will handle the crisis of her husband collapsing after their children's disappearance.
Previously, Seong Ji-cheon avoided returning to college and mistakenly told his siblings he wasn't attending school, dodging calls from his professor. Hiding behind a building, he secretly observes the conversation between Seong Tae-hoon, Jo Mi-ryeo, and Im Bo-mi. Will Seong Ji-cheon's secret be exposed? The tension builds as viewers anticipate the unfolding drama.
The third episode of KBS 2TV's mini-series 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' airs on Thursday, the 9th, at 9:50 PM.
