Q. 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' has concluded. How do you feel about wrapping up the series?
A. I'm glad to have finished the project on a joyful note and am deeply grateful for the warm and pleasant interaction with the viewers. Thanks to your interest and support, every moment will remain memorable for a long time.
Q. You've mostly played intense characters before, but this role was a departure from that. What motivated you to take on the role of Im Seung-jun, which has a different charm?
A. I'm always ready to meet new characters. If I can continue to communicate with viewers through various characters, it will be a great joy and precious happiness for me.
Q. What did you focus on while playing Im Seung-jun? As a gym trainer in the drama, it seems like you had to prepare physically as well. What efforts and processes did you go through?
A. I focused on the relationships and physical aspects of the characters. I put a lot of thought into how the emotional lines and attitudes differ when dealing with my best friend Yi-young and when facing someone I like. I also worked hard to maintain a great physique to fit the role of a gym trainer.
Q. Your chemistry with Han Ji-min was particularly notable. How was the dynamic while playing real-life friends?
A. It was a great honor for me to work with a senior actor I always wanted to collaborate with. I learned a lot from her on set and had a joyful and valuable time throughout the filming.
Q. The romance with Jung Hye-sung was also impressive. What do you think is the charm of the Seung-jun and Hyun-min couple, from their initial meeting through a second-hand transaction to their sweet romance? How was the romantic chemistry with Jung Hye-sung?
A. I think the biggest charm of the Seung-jun and Hyun-min couple is their honest feelings and affectionate hearts, which are connected through 'Mini-Juni'. Thanks to constant communication with Hye-sung on set, their relationship was expressed more lovingly.
Q. Is there a scene from Seung-jun and Hyun-min's relationship that stands out to you?
A. There are many memorable scenes, but the one where I confess my feelings to Hyun-min in the arcade with the line, 'The moment you give up, the match is over... I wanted to say I like you,' stands out the most.
Q. This project, where you showcased both romance and a charming character, seems to hold special meaning. How do you think this work will be remembered as an actor?
A. It will be remembered as a project where I shared my new side with the viewers and communicated sincerely. Thanks to your interest and support, I was able to grow further, and the process itself was a meaningful time for me.
Q. Please share a word of thanks and a message to the viewers who loved 'Efficient Meeting of Singles'.
A. Thank you sincerely for watching 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' and supporting 'Mini-Juni'. If you like someone, I hope you muster the courage to express your feelings sincerely. Thank you.
