2026 'I Am Solo Run' Marathon: A Unique Blend of Running and Entertainment

On May 9, the '2026 I Am Solo Run' marathon event will take place in Yeouido, featuring 'I Am SOLO' (co-produced by SBS Plus and ENA) MCs Song Hae-na and Lee Yi-kyung, who are set to add excitement to the event. Lee Yi-kyung, who faced personal controversies last year and subsequently stepped down from several programs like 'Hangout with Yoo', 'The Return of Superman', and 'Brave Detectives', continues to appear on 'I Am SOLO'.

Additionally, former participants from 'I Am SOLO' are expected to join the event in large numbers. Notable figures such as Young-sik from the 24th season, who gained attention as 'Speechless Guy', and the couple Young-ho and Ok-soon from the 28th season, who became a couple through the show, will gather to participate in the marathon.

The '2026 I Am Solo Run' is an interactive running event that incorporates the 'I Am SOLO' universe, combining running with entertainment content, and has been a hot topic since its announcement.

MCs Song Hae-na and Lee Yi-kyung will join participants in a 10km race, drawing interest. After the race, they will host a stage program, interacting with former 'I Am SOLO' participants.

General participants can choose race bib numbers with names of 'I Am SOLO' characters like 'Young-chul', 'Ok-soon', and 'Kwang-soo', creating a unique scene as participants with the same names run together around Yeouido.

The event is not only about running but also offers various stage programs that allow participants to experience the 'I Am SOLO' universe firsthand.

After the run, a special stage program is prepared, including a talk show where MCs Song Hae-na and Lee Yi-kyung share running impressions and updates with former 'I Am SOLO' participants. There will also be performances by singers of the 'I Am SOLO' OST, enhancing the atmosphere. The highlight of the program includes a 'Self-Introduction Time' and a final selection event, where general participants can introduce themselves on stage and look forward to new connections.

Additionally, interactive programs such as 'I Am SOLO Name AI Matching', 'Final Selection ZONE (Medal Matching Event)', 'Find Your Other Half! (Bib Number Matching Event)', and 'I Am SOLO Scroll Photo Zone' will be available throughout the venue.

The race will start at 7:30 AM on May 9 from Yeouido Culture Square, following a 10km course that turns back near Seogang Bridge. The total number of participants is capped at 9,000, with an entry fee of 70,000 KRW. The event is hosted by SBS Plus, ENA, and Chonjang Entertainment, and organized by Run Korea.

The organizers stated, "With the participation of 'I Am SOLO' MCs and former participants, attendees can experience the fun of the program live. We aim to present a new form of festival combining running and content."
