Former Baseball Star Lee Dae-ho Joins Forces with Jung Hoon in 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'

Former baseball player Lee Dae-ho, known for his cumulative salary of 42.9 billion won, has teamed up with fellow Giants alumnus Jung Hoon on 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'.

The production team of KBS 2TV's new sports reality show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' released introductory videos for Lee Dae-ho's Little Giants and Park Yong-taek's Little Twins teams on their official YouTube channel on the 27th and 30th.

Lee Dae-ho and Park Yong-taek are fired up with expectations and enthusiasm for victory. The special coaches who will accompany them on this journey were unveiled for the first time in the introduction videos. Giants alumnus Jung Hoon and the only catcher from four clubs, Coach Park Jae-wook, will assist Coach Lee Dae-ho. Meanwhile, KBO's 5th all-time appearance leader and 'baseball genius' Jung Sung-hoon, along with Twins alumnus Coach Jung Eui-yoon, will be Park Yong-taek's trusted aides.

The youth players of 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' consist of 12 members per team, targeting 3rd and 4th graders. To select the top players representing each region, the coaches conducted extensive tryouts with about 60 candidates, personally selecting promising talents and forming teams. Notably, 176 applicants showed interest in joining the Little Twins, representing nine districts in Seoul, highlighting the show's popularity.

First, the Little Giants from Busan have assembled a team of 12 players, led by unanimous selection 'Little Giant' Kim Jun-seok, fearless competitor Son Han-yul, speedy leadoff hitter Lee Ye-seung, practical pitcher Lee Jun-seo, versatile infielder Hwang Seung-hyun, determined catcher Song Rak-yoon, outfield guardian Kang Joo-ho, Lee Dae-ho's successor first baseman Kang Min-chan, growth-oriented all-rounder Lee Do-young, valuable hit-maker Sun Ye-jun, and rising talents like 3rd graders Hong Seung-woo and Joo Han-gyeom.

Meanwhile, the Little Twins are led by captain Choi Jin-ho, with key players including catcher Kim Soo-hyun, super shortstop Yoo Young-bin, versatile all-rounder Seo Ji-an, ace pitcher Kim Seo-hoo, fast contact hitter Min Jun-woo, defensive standout Yoon Si-on, defensive wizard 'Post Park Hae-min' Kwak Do-hyun, top-skilled 3rd grader Lee Ji-hyuk, team mood maker Kim Chan-young, multi-player 'Little An Kyung-taek' Hong Jae-wook, and monster pitcher and top starter candidate Kang Jun-young.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' is a program where KBO legends Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, and Na Ji-wan personally select U-10 (under 10 years old) youth players from their respective hometowns and form teams to compete in actual league matches. The show premieres on the 12th of next month at 9:20 PM.
