SBS Plus Unveils New Variety Show 'The Manly Way to Travel' Featuring Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung
'The Manly Way to Travel' is a raw travelogue following three men, Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung, as they embark on a testosterone-fueled adventure filled with unnecessary competitiveness and endless bravado. The show promises a bromance journey with a touch of childish antics.
Choo Sung-hoon, known for his legendary MMA career and unique 'uncle' persona, teams up with Kim Jong-kook, the only one who can challenge him, and Daesung, the witty mediator. Together, they boast a combined YouTube subscriber count nearing 7 million, showcasing their star power and eagerness to entertain with 'zero embellishment, 200% real laughter.'
The show will see the trio, dubbed 'Weird Manly Man,' 'Bravado Manly Man,' and 'Old Manly Man,' travel to Japan for a chaotic adventure. With Choo Sung-hoon's intimidating remark, "Do you really want a low kick?" and Kim Jong-kook's dismissive "Nope!", the dynamic between the three promises a '200% instinctual raw travelogue.'
Directed by Kim Jin-ho, known for 'Law of the Jungle' and 'Jungle's Meal,' the production team expressed excitement about the show's timing, stating, "We're thrilled to premiere in perfect weather. Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung's antics will surely bring laughter to viewers."
'The Manly Way to Travel' premieres on April 21 at 8:40 PM.
