Anticipation Builds for 'Hidden Singer 8' with Jun Hyun-moo and Song Eun-i
Premiering on October 31 at 8:50 PM, JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8' (created by Hong Sang-hoon, directed by Shin Young-kwang) is a unique music show where top Korean singers compete against impersonators who can perfectly mimic their voices and singing styles. Longtime hosts Jun Hyun-moo and Song Eun-i have expressed their special affection and determination for the show.
Jun Hyun-moo shared, "In this era of abundant content, 'Hidden Singer' is the only show that people eagerly await and miss once it ends." He added, "It's been four years since the last season, and while there might be expectations and concerns, we've already recorded four episodes, and incredible things are happening."
The duo has become indispensable to the 'Hidden Singer' series over the years. Jun Hyun-moo described Song Eun-i as "like a family game show MC," emphasizing her importance on set. Song Eun-i praised Jun Hyun-moo's "wit and steady hosting," which enhances the show's quality, and noted the fun in watching his playful hosting style.
Song Eun-i is looking forward to episodes featuring Kim Jang-hoon and 10CM, noting, "Kim Jang-hoon has many hit songs and a unique charm that promises a special episode filled with emotion and laughter." She also expressed curiosity about whether there are impersonators who can mimic 10CM's distinctive voice.
Jun Hyun-moo's efforts to recruit original singers have been a highlight in past seasons, and this time, he hinted at trying to bring Lim Young-woong to the show, saying, "I'm working hard to persuade someone, but it's not confirmed yet. I'm determined to bring them to 'Hidden Singer' with sincerity."
