Actor Jo Jae-yoon Opens Up About Severe Injuries from Acting Career
Actor Jo Jae-yoon has revealed the severe aftereffects of injuries sustained during his acting career.

On the October 28th episode of MBN's 'Dongchimi', Jo Jae-yoon shared his experiences of serious injuries while working as an actor.

During the broadcast, Jo discussed his late marriage and the birth of his child, as well as his past experiences performing intense action scenes as a supporting actor.

Jo explained, “I chose acting late, so I had no choice but to become an action actor. Supporting actors often grow by playing villains, which inevitably involves a lot of action.”

He went on to list specific injuries. Jo stated, “I’ve been injured a lot. I’ve had three disc surgeries, my fingers have become deformed, I need shoulder surgery, and I’ve developed cataracts. I’m like a general hospital,” revealing his current physical condition.

He also expressed his regret towards his 12-year-old son. Jo said, “My child is 12, and I should play with him, but I can’t because of my pain. It’s frustrating and difficult.”

Jo conveyed his heartfelt message to his son through a video letter, saying, “It’s tough, but your dad is always by your side,” touching the audience.

Meanwhile, Jo Jae-yoon is an actor known for his versatile roles in both films and dramas. His notable works include 'Inside Men', 'The Outlaws', 'Reply 1994', 'Descendants of the Sun', 'SKY Castle', and 'The Tyrant's Chef'.
